Local Company Installs Alternative Energy System
Green Power in Greene County
Fairborn, Ohio January 9, 2009
Twenty First Century Energy (TFC Energy) announced that it has completed
the installation of a 41 kW solar photovoltaic (PV) system at their facility
located at 1 Herald Square, Fairborn, Ohio. The solar system consists
of six Sunny Boy inverters and 190 Sharp polycrystalline silicon photovoltaic
panels with 216 watts maximum power.
The City of Fairborn Building Inspector, Mr. Bill Mazer approved the
41 kW PV system and the Ohio Department of Development (ODOD) Advanced
Energy Program Technical and Program Monitor, Mr. Nick Milano also approved
the final inspection.
Mr. Don Knoth owner of TFC Energy plans to participate in the clean
energy sites that will open to the public during the Solar 2009 tour
later this year. TFC Energy is in the service area of Dayton Power
and Light Company and qualified for the Advanced Energy Grant Program
through the ODOD.
