Large Wind Not Entire Answer

There exists a very finite opportunity for multi-megawatt wind turbines to effectively and efficiently offer alternative energy.

These massive systems require vast footprints when placed in multi-unit wind farms (typically 30-150 machines), meaning that available designated land will be quickly expended.
Additionally, the geographic areas in which these colossal structures will be located are predominantly in the Central and Mountain areas of the U.S. interior; presenting challenges of transmitting converted wind energy from seemingly remote areas to where it is needed in urban and suburban areas in the Midwest and along both coasts.
