The Wind Energy Challenge
Large Wind Not Entire Answer
There exists a very finite opportunity for multi-megawatt wind turbines to effectively and efficiently offer alternative energy.

- These massive systems require vast footprints when placed in multi-unit wind farms (typically 30-150 machines), meaning that available designated land will be quickly expended.
- Additionally, the geographic areas in which these colossal structures will be located are predominantly in the Central and Mountain areas of the U.S. interior; presenting challenges of transmitting converted wind energy from seemingly remote areas to where it is needed in urban and suburban areas in the Midwest and along both coasts.
