"Gaps" in Industry Product Offerings

TFC Energy acknowledges a conspicuous gap in currently available products. Much of the market in “small wind” is aimed at residential segments and a vast majority of those systems fall under 10kW rated power.

AWEA defines “community wind” as wind systems over 100kW, many of which are 750kW-1MW.

TFC Energy recognizes that commercial operations akin to light industrial, municipal facilities, farms, schools and businesses have a much greater need than what the traditional “small wind” system can generate; but the necessary, and often difficult, allegiances, partnerships, and permitting necessary for “community wind” capacity despairingly complicates and dissuades potential suitors.

Yet, these operations facilities, buildings and schools are still left wanting an economically-suited alternative wind energy system that is right-sized.
